Software Engineer

Rakuten Mobile

Tokyo, Japan

Nov 2025 - Present

Developed an LLM-based generative chatbot on an on-premise cloud database using Go and TypeScript, reducing Cloud Sector workflow by 50% by automating daily reporting tasks.
Collaborated in an Agile environment to deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), incorporating feedback from cloud researchers responsible for submitting daily reports to the Japanese Government to improve usability and accuracy.
Designed and implemented secure SSH configurations using a jump server to connect Rakuten’s network with an Okinawa on-premise server, ensuring reliable and secure internal access.
Installed and configured Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) on a bare-metal physical data server using proxy configuration and remote KVM (CBM), enabling remote infrastructure provisioning.
Built and hosted a custom application interface by configuring the server and deploying a self-hosted URL, supporting internal access to the chatbot platform.
